This is a non spoiler review, because you as reader need to read this book. Also, I feel sometimes I have in the past gave away to much of the plot line. This has diminished the pleasure for would be readers.
Captain Doraan, and his crew have been suffering from The Curse of Forcina, for ten long agonizing years. Banned to a life at sea and only allowed to return to land one hour one day a year. Years of trying to break the curse that Doraan has been dealt by his fathers past transgressions. A runaway Legion, Kamira is an Elemental with the power of the four elements. In the Empire of Emmoria, the Elementals who posses extraordinary magical capabilities, are persecuted and destroyed by the Ungifted.
Fleeing in the night, she takes a small rowboat, and takes a chance aboard a dark ship,The Cursed Soul.
K.C. Smith’s new fantasy adventure was everything I hoped it would be. I found myself completely immersed within the pages of this engaging read. The authors exceptional writing capabilities allows you to be thrown right into a beautiful, vivid and established world with believable characters that I found quite compassionate to read about. The perfect reading experience, that features dual, POV’s, along with magic, pirates, evil sorceress, and a reluctant hero.
