This is a non spoiler review, because you as reader need to read this book. Also, I feel sometimes I have in the past gave away to much of the plot line. This has diminished the pleasure for would be readers..
Arthie Casimir has climbed up from the bottom to become a fierce crime boss. Using secrets she has acquired to remain on top. Her brother by choice, Jin and her run an illegal tearoom known as Spindrift, that under the cover of darkness caters to Vampires. When everything Arthie and Jin has worked for is threatened they find themselves taking on the colonizing rulers. Pulling together a team they must enter the dark vampire world of the Athereum.
Exceptionnel world building, with multi POV’s and a diverse cast of characters make this book stand out. Heavy on political intrigue, this heist fantasy has budding romance and vengeance.
