Headstrong, Lady Sabrina Bell is a wealthy heiress, does the the unthinkable against all propriety of any sensible gentil lady. She has agreed to meet a gentleman in the very early hours of daybreak at Hyde Park. Instead she accosted by a mugger, who pushes her into the Serpentine. Rescued by a very big and burly Scotsman Highlander Graeme Kendrick, who happens to be working as one of England’s spymasters.

Graeme has definitely met his match with bonny Sassenach, Lady Sabrina.

The sassy Sabrina needs rescuing several times, and the unruly Kendrick brother, Graeme, comes to her rescue.

Graeme and Sabrina find themselves drawn to each other as their chemistry ignites a seductive romance.

On a mission for the king, Graeme heads to Scotland, putting as much distance between himself and Sabrina. Sabrina is in the Kings entourage, as they arrives in Edinburgh much to Graeme dismay. An addictive fantastic duology that will suck you in, with masterful executed writing. Absorbing fantasy fiction, with a stunning intricate magic system, that was completely easy to follow. A book to leave you breathless, as perfectly paced storyline unfolds.

Shields takes the reader alongside our protagonist, Saskia’s. In her emotional struggles of despair and longing for her loved ones that spurn her toward her quest for revenge. At the ending of the first book Bone Charmer, Saskia’s two life paths became one. She arrives back at the Ivory Hall to continue her training in Bone Magic, all the while cleverly hiding the fact that her mother had illegally trained her. She keeps her tattoo hidden that could expose her secret. Saskia’s stuck in a life path that is different than the one her mind remembers. Sorrow and rage drive her in an all consuming quest to catch Latham. Her course is set on retrieving her mother’s and grandmothers bones, and bring Latham to justice before she becomes another one of his casualties. As her training excels, There is an announcement that of The Bone Games, and all must participate. Teams are formed and partnerships and friendship are strengthened. Saskia’s will need the help and the alliance not only in The Bone Games, but also with the havoc that Latham is casting over her life.
This was a nonstop read from the moment I opened the book. I was captivated by the books characters and felt fully immersed into Saskia’s overwhelming desire for vengeance and her loss for her mother. I thought the romance was perfect. The drama and world building was excellent, but what I really appreciated was the message that was underlying element within these stunning magical, atmospheric pages.

The story takes a hard look at the ultimate effect of revenge and bitterness that clouds our judgement and stints our growth, when what really is needed is forgiveness. This allows you to move forward in the healing process of  recovery from death and grief.

A wonderful completely thrilling satisfying conclusion to an enjoyable fantasy duology.

Errol will stop at nothing so Alyssa won’t have control over her magical abilities.

A Curse of Mayhem is a captivating young fantasy adventure story.Giving the reader a moral lesson cleverly executed into an engaging tale that young readers will enjoy.

The author Sunayna Prasad, delivers an intriguing coming of age fantasy. A captivating spellbinding tale perd for your readers who enjoy creative engaging characters, and lively aventures.

Following the disastrous deaths of her parents, twelve year old orphan is sent to live with her uncle and his wife and daughter. Things have definitely changed since her aunt passed away, her uncle has become like a tyrant to her and her cousin Hailey. Desiring adventures and life a little less mundane, while suffering under her strict present home life, Alyssa is denied the ability to attend public school. She restricted to only homeschool and chores. Without anything to feed her your minds imagination, she becomes depressed. Longing for the loving family bonds she once experienced. When Alyssa is kidnapped by Master Beau, the villain, to the Fiji Islands, she is rescued just in time. In a series of events young Alyssa world changes and the adventures really takeoff.

Alyssa must defeat Master Beau if she ever wants to get home again.An enjoyable read from a debut other. I did struggle with being told what s going on instead of being shown. A little more fluid and less chunky, but overall it was a good magical beginning, and I am excited to read the next book in series.

A charming coming of age historical fiction, that sure will delight readers everywhere. Set in England in the Victorian period of the mid-eighteen hundreds.

Jonathan Clyde, is a mischievous young boy, whose life changes after the death of his titled father, and oldest brother. Raised at his ancestral home of Whitehall,

Lydia Smythe, is a Bookish, confident young farmers daughter that take up employment as a parlor maid at Whitehall. Her disposition is unique and attracts the young Baron, Jonathan. The storyline unfolds and the two lives become more and more intertwined. As their relationship expands to an unconventional one, they are still aware the class difference that is ever present between them.

The rich everyday detailed life of 18th century England comes through the pages of this amusing and thought provoking book. A.E. WALNOFER, creates a engaging historical fiction, part coming of age story with compelling interesting characters, along with social and economic issues presented.

Seamless cohesive narration, makes for a stunning read. Wonderfully detailed atmospheric elements adds to the realistic historical time period.

This was a enjoyable non stop read for me fast read for me, I had a hard time putting down and completely devoured over a day.

I recommend this book to my family and friends and anyone who enjoys coming of age Victorian era dramas.

A.E. Walnofer spends weekdays mobilizing the soft tissue and synovial joints of patients, and weekends typing out stories that are incessantly brewing inside her head. There are lots of these tales and she hopes to share many more of them with you in the future.
